LogRocket's First Marketer

Get in on the ground floor at a top, fast-paced startup, while solving a huge challenge for product managers and developers- understanding customer experience. We're looking for a super-motivated individual to start the marketing team at LogRocket. We have a product that customers are already raving about; you will play a key role in drafting our messaging and positioning, crafting our collateral and packaging, and shaping our overall go-to-market strategy. If you happen to have experience in the analytics or developer tool verticals, that’s a significant plus.

LogRocket is the first system that gives companies complete visibility into their customer experience. We've already attracted an elite roster of hundreds of customers including Twitch.tv, NBC and Ryanair, based largely on word-of-month. Now we're building out the Product Marketing team to broaden our reach... which is where you come in.

Reporting to our CEO, you'll work hand-in-hand with the product and sales teams to help both prospects and customers understand LogRocket's value proposition and differentiation. We'll need your help in developing sales-ready collateral; capturing customer case studies; articulating LogRocket's features and benefits; developing and prioritizing our personas; thinking through our segmentation; competitive tracking and intelligence; and carrying out research to inform certain product and product marketing decisions.

From day one as a LogRocketeer, you'll be an active contributor to the LogRocket culture and help us fulfill our vision of improving society's interaction with software. If this sounds like a good fit, we'd love to hear from you!

Within 1 month you'll...

  • Coordinate blog posts from the engineering team and contract writers, and contribute materials to the blog.
  • Manage a weekly newsletter.
  • Design and coordinate promotional campaigns, PR and other marketing efforts across channels (digital, press etc.).

Within 3 months you'll...

  • Develop drip campaign and customer success workflows to increase in-app customer engagement.
  • Listen to the trends of the market and use that information to direct the marketing activities to drive brand and adoption.
  • Define marketing strategies to support the company’s overall strategies and objectives.
  • Develop a strong marketing plan for the department and oversee its day-to-day implementation.
  • Plan and organize marketing functions and operations (branding, communications, demand gen, customer feedback etc.), and ensure they project the company’s unique “voice”.
  • Set and execute on marketing OKRs.
  • Measure ROI on various marketing channels, and use a budget to grow the team as needed.

  • Manage a cross-functional team to execute on marketing projects and goals.
  • Use our marketing budget to grow the most successful marketing channels.
